David moved to Memphis, Tennessee from Richmond, Virginia in the
summer of 2001 to be in a better music town. His first album 'Sounds
off' was released in Richmond in 2000 and co-produced by his longtime
friends Jason Horst (Jason and the vacations) and Josh Scolaro
(Aircraft).
In Memphis David works as a tour guide at the legendary Sun Studio
(Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis) where I happened to meet him
last November. I was so thrilled to meet a young musician with so much
talent and drive, I just had to get him on our S&M Roster!!!!
David's 'End of an Error' (2003) has sold 1500+ copies and has
recently been licensed by Starbucks Coffee to play in some of their
6000+ stores worldwide.
He is also rather handsome ( sorry). In 2005 'Chorus verses the bridge'
was released, and a major music network on TV has recently licensed
another Davey song for a TV show. Google David Brookings to read
more on this promising young rock'n'roll singer/songwriter.

(Notes from the man...)
The route begins in Glasgow, Scotland. Then to Edinburgh,
Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool (can't wait to be there),
Birmingham, Cardiff (Wales), Oxford and it will end in London. I'm
very excited about this. If any of you are in these cities, drop me a
line. I'd love to meet you and see your town. I've never been over,
but all my favorite groups are from UK. Beatles, Stones, Oasis,
Kinks, Radiohead, Elton John, David Bowie, Zeppelin, Floyd, all that
shit. Can't wait to be there and see it all. Venues coming soon, it'll
be mostly little pubs, stay tuned........
